Delicious, very cheap and atmospheric! I am happy!

This is a nice restaurant in the heart of Rostock. The price / performance ratio is not quite right ... I didn't indulge myself in the seasoning meat for 11.90 € ... do the math :( I had the turbot and it was ok ... but it wasn't enough for 5 stars.

German dishes, very tasty, friendly service. Nice atmosphere in the vaulted cellar.

Pure disappointment. Portion size is a joke, but totally overpriced. It was okay in terms of taste. Unfriendly and incompetent staff. Absolute tourist catch of the sheds!

I found the offer very pleasant. The restaurant is really extremely stylish. No cheap decoration, instead most of the colors were nicely coordinated with each other. All dishes are nicely prepared and are always served warm. Super great and nice service. I think the entire restaurant staff did a great job there.

We went back there yesterday. We were looking forward to good food. Unfortunately, even after an hour of waiting, nothing of the "heartiness" stated on the menu has arrived on our plates. Just disappointing.

The ambience is nice and the food was partly good. Mine was great, my girlfriend didn't like it. But what didn't work was the service. Very unfriendly, a shame.

Totally nice atmosphere in the hop cellar. Great service thanks to Toni, thank you :) We were there on two evenings in a row. Both times super delicious food, we can highly recommend the Haxe. The mask and the distances to the tables were also respected without exception. We would love to come back.

We ordered a table for 4 people and were already looking forward to the evening because we had invited our parents. At the reception, before the greeting, where is the mask, our parents are 84 and 86 and have a certificate, I also have a serious illness and therefore a certificate. We were told that nobody cares and that their own rules apply here, either with a mask or we can go. Like blackmail. We have never been treated so rude. Bad how a sick person is treated there! And apparently they don't know there that this is against the law !!!! We definitely do not recommend this restaurant !!!

Nice cellar. Good food .. Service a disaster. Drink doesn't come with food. If you want to reorder, you have to wait. In the meantime you have already eaten. A shame for the great restaurant. That's why we're not coming back.

The service is too terrible ... I've lived in Germany for 15 years and I think it's one of the worst. To be honest, I think it's better to go to another restaurant. Delicious beer also tastes bad. Specifically, I went to drink only beer around 21:30, but for the time being there was no staff at the entrance (this is fairly normal in Germany). I can't help it, so when I go to the kitchen, three or four staff members are talking about waste. When asked, "Is it just beer, is that okay?", The female staff said in an aggressive tone, "You can even eat!" After that, I was passed to the table closest to the kitchen and was given a service that I couldn't understand, "I'm alone, so this table may be too big !!". Of course I don't feel good, but let's say it's good. After arriving at a small table, when I tried to order the beer I was looking for, there were only a few staff members in the hall. And then I didn't see the female staff at all ... In Germany, you will declare that you do not tip = the service was bad / you do not want to come again, so of course you will make a decision not to tip here, but the ultimate is "change is 1.3 euros" Well ... (counting) Well, is it ok to pay with this? "" No "" I don't have any change ... "" Yes, that's fine "and I decided to leave the store. By the way, I had a part-time job at a restaurant when I was a student, but it's impossible to get a change of 1.3 euros unless it's a very high-class restaurant. Moreover, the clerk made me jerky. I usually tip that much, but since this is a manifestation of intention, I would like to give this review to you and this shop instead of (unfortunately) paying the tip. If you can read Japanese, you should choose another restaurant. I'm really glad I didn't go with my family. If you look at the word-of-mouth, unfortunately, you can see that the service is terrible even from German people.

Very nice atmosphere and super delicious, especially with the prices - really great. The staff (with one exception) was very friendly and quick. Clear recommendation.

Waiting time for food: 1 hour and 50 minutes There was no excuse for the wait While waiting, other guests who came later had already finished eating and paid. Food was cold and at the children's meal a quarter of a tomato and a quarter of cucumber were simply caressed on the plate Pay waiting time: 45 min. Several waiters did not respond to our attention or rather ignored us. Once and never again!!!

Long waiting time, the worst hamburger & schnitzel ever. The hamburger meat was simply disgusting, so thick and dry that I barely could cut it, and the schnitzel was totally burnt and dried out. Despite the cheap quality, it was ridiculously overpriced.

The restaurant is very nice and quaint but we thought it has little for vegetarians and nothing for vegans. Probably, indeed surely, the strong point of the restaurant is meat. We have taken the fish but the dish has been served, according to the humble opinion, bad. I do not think that you put the salad together with cooked vegetables and cubes of pork belly. A fillet of zander, one of cod, a plate of pasta for my son, a beer and water for a total of 44 euros. I do not think I come back considering we are vegetarians.

An incredibly good evening! The food was simply excellent and absolutely reasonable in terms of quality and portion size. The ambience is pleasant and the staff super nice. Everything is highly recommended, whether fish or meat.
